Game Review! SUPER SCRIBBLENAUTS

My first game review! Some people would have liked me to review something like, COD or Fifa, or Assassin's Creed, but I picked a game I think deserves at leats a cajillion rewards. Super Scribblenauts, a breakthough in gaming. You play as Maxwell, an imaginative chaacter who posseses a magical object, his notepad. In the game, you have to solve puzzles to obtain starites, to win the level. To solve these puzzles, you must think of an object that can help you out, then write it in Maxwell's Notebook. It will then appear, and you can use it! You can even add adjectives, it is incredible! (Or Scribblenautical as my friend Russel would say.) the game itself is for your DS, and will make a great addition! It is one of my favortie games!

VERDICT: FIVE STARS

HERO FACTORY Ultimately Failed

I'm sorry to everyone out there that may find this offensive, but the BIONICLE spinoff, HERO FACTORY failed. Hard. It's not that the intentions were bad, it's just it doesn't work. And here's why. It all started with the end of a great era of toys, BIONICLE. Please check http://bionicleglatorian.blogspot.com/2009/11/bionicle-is-over.html for verification if you don't believe me. LEGO announced it would be making "a new, more flexible platform." in 2010, they obviously lied. HERO Factory was much, MUCH, MUCH less flexible than many of it's predecessors. Although HERO FACTORY stayed true to the original concept of BIONICLE, it was a little bit of a dissapointment. Then in 2011, HERO FACTORY 2.0 was released. It killed everything. HERO FACTORY 2.0 was a "more flexible platform" but it seemed to quash everything BIONICLE stood for. I can't really explain it, but these sets seem to kill my childhood. I just don't understand. I just... can't. I only found ONE BIONICLE part in the whole set. And it had been altered ALOT. It's safe to say BIONICLE lived on within HERO FACTORY, but was obliterated by HERO FACTORY 2.0.

Movie Review! The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet struck me as an interesting superhero movie, seeing that the heroes have no powers and pose as bad guys. Although I thought the movie was an original film, I discovered it was a remake of a "Green Hornet" starring Bruce Lee. And THAT was based off of a radio show! In fact, I think there was a comic book series as well, but lets get back to the 2011 movie. The movie itself was incredible. The characters are unforgettable (Kato is now up in my top ten) and the plot has alot of interesting twists and various powerful and hilarious moments. The only thing I didn't like was the language. It seemed every other scentence they were cussing, in fact, i'm pretty sure I could write a LONG book recording all the swear words in the film. So it's not for the younger children. (Mommy, what does that word mean?) So verdict?

MOVIE: Radical

LANGUAGE: Stinkin Awful

I'd give the movie...

LEGO, Anyone?

My entire childhood has been enfluenced by LEGO. From buying the sets, to just building by new things with just my imagination, LEGO has really shaped who I am. (So has Calvin and Hobbes, but I'll tell you about that later.) I use to think that LEGO was only for children, but after reading LEGO: A Love Story by Jonathan Bender I discovered a vibrant community of adult fans of LEGO. (AFOL) And you really wouldn't believe what these guys can do. Check dis out!




Yeah, I know. So if you haven't lately, why don't you build with some LEGO? Just an idea, for the kool kids out der.

Movie Review! TRON: Legacy

Even though it's New Year's Day, I don't think i'm gonna do any special "New Year's Resolution" post. I've been dying to do a review on TRON: Legacy. So here we go. My first responce to seeing trailers to TRON was, "Oh my goodness. TRON 2!!!!" I was super excited. TRON (1982) was one of my favorite movies and this movie looked sweet! And then I went to see it. And here is my opinion. The movie itself was very good. The plot was allitle weak, but had some interesting twists. And the special effects, INCREDIBLE! Best special effects i've ever seen! The actors were pretty good. Jeff Bridges really added a touch of comedy to the mix. As for the 3D, here's the thing. 3D has been ruined. There are no good 3D moves anymore. There are just movies where you put on 3D glasses. I remember when you had the red and blue glasses and every other scene someone was stretching their hand at the camera or throwing something at you or litterally jumping out of the frame. Nowadays, you might get that in one scene. If at all. (The best 3D I have ever seen was on my trip to Walt Disney World. It was called, "Mickey's Philhar Magic.") As for TRON, it had a few good 3D moments, but overall, it would have been just as good without it. I give it
